Spotted by our network of acquaintances, Cedars and Sequoia at the end of their life converge on our workshop in Haute Vienne. Once there, they are installed upright, waiting for inspiration.

When inspiration calls, the tree enters a long process of transformation.

Stripped of everything that is not sustainable, the tree reveals its heart. It guides our inspiration to dig an alcove likely to welcome the tiny humans that we are.

Drawing, digging, evaluating, looking, sanding, softening, rounding... are all acts of Love that gradually reveal the harmonious forms, interior and exterior. For it is a double sculpture, modeling both the outer visual geometry and the inner welcoming cavity.

Then, the long work of softness begins. Hours of softening the shapes, of sanding more and more finely until the most sensual touch is achieved.

In an environmental approach, we use organic oils and we recycle scraps and wood chips.
